Mikuni American Corporation is a subsidiary of Mikuni Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Mikuni American Corporation was established on April 17, 1968. Originally, it was established to purchase aircraft parts in the United States and export them to Japan. In due time since they were a carburetor manufacturer, they started to import carburetors and other engine related products into the United States. At the present time, there are approximately 51 employees. They have 18 employees in Chicago, Illinois, and 6 in McAllen, Texas. Their Chicago offices are for their O.E.M. operations and their Texas office is for the manufacturing plant in Reynosa, Mexico. Mikuni Corporation, their parent company in Japan has been in business for over 91 years and has more than 5,000 employees worldwide. Mikuni's primary business is to manufacture various types of carburetor and other automotive related products. It is well known as one of the leading manufacturers in the industry.
