Softail ABS Upper DOT Brake Line AdapterThis 2018 Softail ABS DOT brake line adapter is used in conjunction with an ABS Designer Series Upper Brake Line to connect the lower brake line to the master cylinder. Adapters, Upper Brake Lines, and Lower Brake line kits are sold separately. Upper line length for Softail models is determined by using your stock OE master cylinder brake line as a guide. Measure from the lower brake line manifold where the upper line is attached. Follow the routing up to your master cylinder. Subtract 1.5" and round up to the next even number. (See the measuring information below.) Only an ABS Designer Upper Brake Line and an ABS adapter are required for a handlebar change. ABS Designer Lower Brake Lines are optional.
